Cincinnati Referral Group (CRG) Guide
Lines
Every CRG
member need to be familiar with CRG guide lines. By becoming a CRG member you agree with
all the points below.
Who we are:
-
The CRG is a professional networking organization that
exists to help members build their businesses.
-
Referrals are valued as a critical part of our business.
-
We limit membership to one business from each profession.
- CRG
is more than just a referral
group. Members must be involved in charities and community
activities.
-
We meet twice a month to talk about our businesses and the
CRG itself, provide referrals and referral feedback, and discuss
activities with local charities.
-
The CRG also limits members to involvement in just one
formal networking group (ie: BNI, BRN, NetWorth, etc.). Chambers and
association memberships are not a problem.
Referrals:
-
While some member-to-member business could occur as the
group gets to know each other, the real value to growing our businesses
will be through referrals. Through this mutual support system, members
help each other build their business by giving referrals.
-
Each member has their own network of contacts and clients,
compound that by the number of members in the CRG and the real power of
networking is realized. Through this expanded networking come most of
the business referrals that are given each week.
-
Therefore, giving referrals to group members after 6 months is
mandatory. That means that a member must have received a referral from
all other members in a period of 6 months.
-
"Word of mouth" is one of the most cost-effective forms of
advertising and marketing. CRG provides a structured environment for the
development and exchange of quality business referrals for everyone.
- Follow the
Referral
Process Guideline as well as the
Referral Form.
Membership Process:
a)
members are encouraged to bring guests to one or two meetings to
learn more about the group. It is mandatory to e-mail your designated
Team Leader before
bringing a gust to the meetings.
b)
the member is considered a "sponsor"
c)
the sponsor will ensure the guest understands CRG guidelines and
submits their application.
-
The application form can be either sent electronically (Online)
or downloaded (Application)
and faxed to
Alex
-
The application will be forwarded to the membership committee
chair for review.
-
The chair (or designee) will interview the prospective member
within 3 business days, using a standard list of questions.
-
The membership chair (designee) will document the conversation
and report to the membership committee and within 2 business days on the
suggestion to accept the new member. Review the suggestions and any
supporting information, address any concerns or questions, and
communicate the decision back to Alex Nasiri.
-
The prospect and sponsor will be notified by the membership chair
within 2 business days.
d)
members can not belong to another formal networking group (ie:
BNI, BRN, NetWorth.etc.), not including the Chamber of Commerce,
associations, or non-profit organizations such as Kiwanis or MADD.
e)
The new member can not have a competing interest with any of our current
members.
f)
The new member must be willing to be a team player, loyal to the
members of the CRG and care about his or her community where he or she
lives
Attendance:
1.
The CRG members provide the strength in the
group and determine its success. Because of this, it is strongly
recommended that you attend every meeting.
-
It is understandable that work, family or illness might
cause you to miss an occasional meeting, members are asked to let Alex
or another member know in advance of the absence, if possible.
-
After two missed meetings you will
be given a warning. After the third missed meeting your name will be
removed from the web site and a replacement will be found.
-
If you miss meeting one every
month and you fail to e-mail me before hand you will be also give a
warning. If a member has more than 3 warnings his or her name will be
removed from the web site.
Community Participation:
1.
Although we meet to grow our business and become profitable, it
is also our responsibility to provide value to the communities we live
in.
2.
Members are encouraged to help the charities of their choice and
contribute to community activities
3.
Alex can post the charity's information on our website.
